Pray for Snow Party
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe
8:00pm, Free entry. The Praying for Snow Party at the Hard Rock Lake Tahoe on the pool deck launches the winter season with a DJ spinning beats for all ages. Guests will receive a complimentary Hard Rock neck gaiter for the upcoming ski season to keep riders warm on the slopes, and persons over 21 will receive a complimentary domestic draft beer with Backstage Pass at the free event. Opening Day at Heavenly Ski Resort
Grab your Squad for First-turns and Après at Heavenly Opening Day
Heavenly will kick off the early season with a social-scene opening day celebration that carries guests from the Heavenly Village Gondola with complimentary donuts, hot chocolate, and coffee in the morning to afternoon après at Tamarack Lodge and Bar 9150′ (famous for spiced-just-right Mountain Mary’s). A DJ and EMCEE will welcome guests at the base of the Heavenly Village Gondola, while a DJ CAT and live music from the “Send it Band” will seamlessly carry tunes up to the top of the mountain. Warren Miller’s “Timeless”

This fall, Warren Miller Entertainment confirms that the joys of winter are eternal, with its 70th full-length feature film, “Timeless”. Much of the world has changed since Warren Miller started making ski films in 1949, but the passion of snowriders across the globe has stayed the same. South Tahoe Turkey Trot Fun Run

10:00am. The cost is $20 for adults, $15 for ages 11-18 and free for kids 10 and under. Funds raised go to help those using the Warm Room in South Lake Tahoe this winter. The first 100 to sign up will receive a free reusable water bottle. For more info, click here.
